2012 is our 44th year as a registered snowmobile club in the province of B.C., making us one of the oldest registered clubs in the province. The mandate of the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club is to promote the recreational sport of snowmobiling, to work with government to keep our riding areas open for you to enjoy and at the same time to promote awareness of the protected areas for mountain caribou, take part in fund raising activities for various charity events such as Snowarama, breast cancer and the Revelstoke Food Bank. We also promote social activities within the club such as a monthly Full Moon Ride, a New Years Eve Ride, film showings and other events. The club promotes the safe use of snowmobiles and encourages avalanche awareness. We encourage snowmobilers to practice environmental awareness when using the backcountry. The club is a signing partner for the Trail Management Agreements with the Snowmobile Revelstoke Society and members of the club sit on the SRS board of directors. The Club is also a signatory of the SMA (Stewardship Management Agreement) with the Ministry of Environment.
